Budget Protest 07.12.10

2010 was a year of protests against the bailout, budget, student fees, gardai handling of protests. I only managed to get to a couple, heres some shots from a very cold night in December, protesting the new budget.

Been a while since I've covered a protest, but I was out and about and my mate told me about it. Only had the 50mm so was limited, I prefer to get in closer to the crowd. Masses of people, rain, and said 50mm didnt keep me out for much of it :)

Taxi drivers force way into regulator's office for sit-in

Three members of the Irish Taxi Council are staging a sit-in protest at the office of the Taxi Regulator in Dublin.

Around 40 other taxi drivers are also involved in a demonstration outside the office on Fitzwilliam Square.

A spokesperson for the Taxi Regulator says a small group of drivers forced their way in the building this afternoon.

Gardaí are at the scene monitoring the situation.
