The dying darkroom

Photoshop et al has made life so much easier for photographers (delving into the moral aspects of using PS is for another time!), but has it also taken away from the pleasure of the darkroom? I spent many hours in the school darkroom learning dodging, burning, and all the other tricks to get the photo the way you wanted it. I'd love to get a darkroom set up at home but just don't have the space.
